"Lost in Dinosaur World" VHS video. Kinda corny. The acting is funny. The plot is doofie.The dinomation creatures are slow (but well presented to create the illusion of fast action). But my kids have worn this truly enjoyable video out and are on their replacement! Yours will do the same. Not to be missed!

Mystery of the Devil's Roost, John A. Long. To be reviewed. A kid's novel that also appeals to adults of all ages, written by a palaeontologist. Set in ancient Australia, this mystery transports kids back in time to interact with creatures of the Devonian, the Cretaceous and the Miocene Periods. It's new but already getting good reviews and huge advanced orders from children's book clubs in Australia. Highly educational and scientifically sound. A real imagination sparker! "Prehysteria" VHS videos. Really a fun series of movies on baby dinos hatching in modern times. The first is by far the funniest and most alluring but they're all great! All ages will love these.

Our heroes get to travel into the reality of any book (it subtly & effectively encourages reading!) when it's read in their magic tree house. Using wit and social skills, the children manage to survive a trip to the ice age in their swimming clothes! The sabertooth, Cro-Magnons & a mouse are interesting characters, too! A winner!
